Violent animated action from the Japanese. It's dark and intense and not at all for children. Unless you want to give them psychological issues for several years.
It's actually a damned good story and well worth a watch.
Plus you can then say you've seen one of the defining pieces of modern animated cinema and enter into Nerdsville with your head high.
